How we relate to strangers, friends and family, along with how we react to various life situations, forms a major part of our personality. Though as humans we all have a common template for forming relationships and responding to situations, every person has their own way of relating and responding, making each one of us unique.

In this module we look into those factors that contribute to forming relationships. We focus on various aspects influencing how we see and judge people and make friends. We also look into how we explain the behaviour of others as well as our own behaviour, and review the importance of language and theory of mind in relating to people.
