Chemsex is a growing phenomenon usually involving marginalised and vulnerable groups. It carries with it some significant physical and mental health risks that all health practitioners should be aware of. Chemsex is relevant to mental health workers due to the impact it can have on people’s mental health, as well as their lives and general wellbeing. However, it is rarely discussed and remains a taboo topic for many.
