This free-to-access Practice Paper is designed to support your preparation for MRCPsych Paper A. It contains 100 questions and offers a structured opportunity to test your understanding of the syllabus and consolidate key knowledge. The recommended completion time is 2 hours to provide a realistic experience aligned to the format of the formal examination.
While the questions draw on themes commonly encountered within MRCPsych eLearning modules, they are of course not intended to predict or guarantee the content of the formal examination. Please refer to the College's webpage on Preparing for exams, which provides helpful guidance on what you'll need to prepare for Paper A, Paper B and CASC.
Availability
This practice paper is free to access for anyone registered with the College as a resident doctor, member, affiliate, Student Associate or Foundation Doctor Associate – just log in with your College details (not OpenAthens) to access the modules. For non-members it is available as part of a MRCPsych Paper A subscription.
