Overview

This seminar's area of focus is on the value of data for clinicians. For Clinical value of data, why is data important to clinicians and what value it can bring to clinicians in regard to understanding their local population needs and how data can be used to improve local mental health services with aim to improve outcomes for patients and to reduce health inequalities.

Objectives

At the end of the session, delegates will: 

  • have a greater understanding (and be able to articulate) the value of data for clinicians
  • know how to access datasets locally and nationally about their local populations
  • have a clear understanding of the relationship between high quality data and improved patient outcomes.
