Stress is part of our everyday life, and how we learn to deal with it has a significant impact upon our quality of life and achievements. But what is stress exactly? And how does it interact with our body? What role does it play in the development of disorders, and what helps us to cope with it? What makes some individuals more vulnerable than others to stress?
In this module we will try to give an answer to these questions from a psychological perspective.
This module is free to access for anyone registered with the College as a resident doctor, member, affiliate, Student Associate or Foundation Doctor Associate – just log in with your College details (not OpenAthens) to access the modules. For non-members it is available as part of a TrOn subscription.
