Dr Jonathan Rogers will present on, ‘Catatonia: a treatable entity in treatment-resistant psychosis”. The talk will cover important clinical points such as why antipsychotics are not the full answer to all presentations of psychosis, chronic catatonic features in schizophrenia and the potential for immunotherapy-responsive autoimmune conditions to present with psychosis and catatonia, which can be initially formulated as treatment-resistant psychosis • Dr Susannah Whitwell will give an overview of the interface between autism and psychotic disorders in adults and give practical advice on what to look out for in the identification, differentiation and management of autistic traits in that context. • Professor Sir Robin Murray will summarise evidence on modifiable relapse predictors in psychosis and speak on the topic of, “Can we avoid relapse and treatment resistance in schizophrenia?”
